The CMS Delegations Received a Warm Welcome at Turalei Airstrip

Turalei, Twic County — Upon their arrival at Turalei Airstrip, a delegation from CMS was warmly welcomed by local officials, church leaders, and enthusiastic residents.
The reception was spearheaded by Twic County Commissioner Mangok Kom, accompanied by the County Executive Director and other senior officials, who underscored the importance of the visit for the community. The Twic County Authority expressed gratitude to the church for its contributions to community development.
Prominent representatives from the Episcopal Church of South Sudan were in attendance, including Bishop Joseph Mamer of Wanyjok and Bishop Abraham Ngor Mangong of Gogrial.
A large crowd gathered at the airstrip, greeting the delegation with traditional songs and vibrant cultural performances that highlighted the region’s rich heritage.
Local leaders noted that this visit underscores the ongoing partnership between CMS, church institutions, and civil authorities in advancing development and humanitarian efforts across the region.
